FORMER PRIORY OF WING; ASCOT HOUSE BUILT ON SITE (B2). FOUNDED IN WING PARK (B1). FOUNDED PRE-1086 (B7); A CELL OF ST NICHOLAS, ANGERS (B1). PROBABLY 2-3 MONKS; 3 KNOWN PRIORS (B5). DISSOLVED 1416 (B7); GIVEN TO NUNS OF ST ALBANS & LATER TO CARDINAL WOLSEY (B3). NGR TO PROBABLE SITE (B6).
