Description

MED POT INDUSTRY KNOWN (B1). SHERDS, INCL WASTERS AND KILN FURNITURE FOUND, GARDEN OF THE WARREN BY HEDGE NEAR ROAD (B2). FABRIC: SMOOTH TEXTURE, V SLIGHTLY SANDY, USUALLY OFF WHITE. OFTEN GLAZED GREEN TO HONEY. UNUSUAL: SOME STAMP DECORATION. RANGE OF PRODUCTS (SEE 00:001-005) (B3). Watching brief on site found no Med pottery, all sherds found ascribed to late C17 (see :01) (B4).
