Description

AT HILLESDEN WOOD HOUSE ARE EXTENSIVE BRICK & TILEWORKS, CARRIED ON BY MR JOHN PAGE(BI1). 1880 MAP MARKS 'BRICKFIELD'; 'KILN' CENTRED AT NGR (BI2). SOME BRICKS LAY AROUND C1979. WORKS NOT ACTIVE IN 1920'S(BI3). A SMALL BRICK BUILDING ON SITE OF KILN MAY BE ASSOCIATED WITH WORKS. ALL NOW OVERGROWN(BI4)
