TRADITION - USED TO BE SEVERAL COTTAGES & SMALL INN NR HALL END. FARMER SAYS FOUNDATION STONES OFTEN UNEARTHED (B2).
MOST PROB PLATFORMS CENTRED 8250 1090 - PLOUGHING MADE THEM UNCLEAR. ACCORDING TO FARMER ROW OF COTTAGES STOOD THERE TILL BEGINNING OF THE CENTURY. CONFIRMED BY MAPS OF 1788 & 1825 (B5).
