BURCOTT HSE STOOD IN MEADOW C. A QUARTER-MILE FROM PARISH CHURCH (NGR). SEAT OF CLINTON FAMILY. WITNESS REMEMBERED SPACIOUS BUILDING, DEMOLISHED C.50YRS AGO (B1(1862)). DATED 1674, OWNED BY THE FIENNES C18, DEMOLISHED C19 (B2). CALLED BURCOT MANOR C17; APPURTENANT TO PRINCIPAL MANOR AT WING (B2).
