Description

Probable eighteenth or nineteenth century milestone missing possibly was in Market Square Princess Risborough not visible on current OS maps but on First Edition 1:2500 County Map 1876-86 benchmark in north west corner Market Square. Recorded as missing on updated Milestones Society website in 2002 was on Wycombe to Aylesbury route National ID number BU-_THRI 07. Inscription was: centre: 'Thame 6/1/2/ Oxford 20# Wycombe 9.' ? Benchmark. [ Description available ] (B1).
