SAM 47. LARGE MOUND, NO TRACES OF ENCIRCLING DITCH OR BAILEY. HAS BEEN TRUNCATED TO S BY MODERN ROAD, WHICH HAS SLICED ACROSS BASE. SUMMIT BISECTED E-W BY SHALLOW DEPRESSION. THE WHOLE IS GRASS COVERED, WITH SCRUB. GRAZED BY HORSES (B8).
