Description

English Heritage's Survey fo Stowe undertaken in 2001 notes the hollow way which marks the route of the old Buckingham to Towcester Road through Stowe Park. A farm track follows its course in the south ands it becomes a substantial earthwork between Lamport and the Bourbon Tower. Faint earthworks N and S of the tower show where the feature continues to the N (2).
