GRADE II. GATES, GATE PIERS & RAILINGS AT MAIN ENTRANCE TO MENTMORE PARK. C.1852-4. PROBABLY BY G H STOKES. DOUBLE GATES WITH FLANKING SINGLE GATES & RAILINGS THAT CURVE TOWARDS THE FRONT, ALL OF CAST IRON, PAINTED GOLD & BLUE, WITH SCROLL ORNAMENT & FRIEZE OF ALTERNATE SPEARHEAD & FLAME MOTIFS.
