Description

GRADE II. THREE HOUSES, FORMERLY LODGE, LAUNDRY & ACCOMMODATION FOR LAUNDRYMAIDS AT MENTMORE TOWERS. C.1870-80, POSSIBLY BY GEORGE DEVEY. RED BRICK WITH MOULDED PLINTH & MOULDED DENTIL CORNICE. UPPER FLOORS OF BLOCK TO LEFT ARE RENDERED WITH ORNAMENTAL HALF-TIMBERING, TILE-HANGING & BARGEBOARDS [MORE] (B1).
