Description

GRADE II. LATE MEDIEVAL HALL HOUSE WITH 2 STOREY CROSS WING. TIMBER FRAME WITH LATER BRICK INFILL. TILED ROOF. LARGE BRICK STACK INSERTED INTO FORMER SMOKE BAY BETWEEN HALL AND CROSSWING. ENTRANCE OPPOSITE STACK WITH MODERN PORCH; 3-LIGHT MODERN CASEMENTS. WEATHERBOARDED LEAN-TO AT END OF HALL wing, and small modern rear extension with hipped gable.
Interior has chamfered arch-braced collar truss formerly in centre of hall visible in attic, and chamfered posts supporting it on ground and first floors. Exposed trusses throughout.
