Description

GRADE II. COTTAGE. C17 WITH EARLIER FABRIC. WITCHERT, COLOURWASHED AND RENDERED. RUBBLESTONE PLINTH. THATCH ROOF. ONE STOREY AND ATTIC. 2 BAYS. MODERN WINDOWS AND DOORS. INTERIOR: 2 BAYS, THE WESTERN ONE OLDER AND PART OF A LATE MEDIEVAL HOUSE WHICH INCLUDED THE ADJOINING 3 BAYS OF NO.5 (Q.V.).
An evaluation of this site was conducted by John Moore Heritage Services on 10th December 2009. One trench, 10 metres in length, was excavated to the natural geology. No archaeological features were recorded (B2).
