ACCOUNT BY BROWNE WILLIS: CHURCH OR CHAPEL WAS A SMALL TILED BUILDING, CEILED AT TOP. AGAINST E WALL ARE STILL TO BE SEEN SOME PAINTING OF THE VIRGIN MARY (B1). AISLESS CHURCH TO N OF CLOISTER WITH N TRANSEPT, NE CHAPEL, & W TOWER (ALL LATER ADDITIONS) (SEE PLAN)(B9).
