Description

TOMB OF WILLIAM LIBERTY. INSCRIPTION: 'TO THE MEMORY OF OUR WILLIAM LIBERTY WHO DIED IN 1777'. HE LEFT INSTRUCTIONS NOT TO BE BURIED IN THE CHURCHYARD AS HE ANTICIPATED THAT AT THE RESURRECTION THERE WOULD BE SUCH A SCRAMBLE FOR BONES THAT HE MIGHT HAVE DIFFICULTY FINDING HIS OWN (B5). AT NGR (B8, B23). ARTICLES ON THE TOMB (B14,B16).
