BARN N OF HOUSE WITH 5 BAYS, & INNER CURVED PRINCIPAL TRUSSES TYPICAL OF MID/LATE C18. ON 1 WALL POST NEXT TO THRESHING FLOOR IS DATE 1753 CUT INTO TIMBER. TIMBER-FRAMED WITH WEATHERBOARDING ON A 1.20M HIGH PLINTH OF BRICK & FLINT. TILED ROOF. FURTHER DETAIL & HISTORY (B1).
Grade II. Barn. Late C18. Timber frame and weatherboard, flint and brick plinth, half-hipped plain tile roof. 5 bays. Central cart doors with gabled entry projecting to south. Curved principal trusses with tension braces to tie-beams, diagonal wall braces, double purlin roof. Included for group value (B4).
